A Menina e a Árvore
A Menina e a Árvore is a show for the whole family that follows Dobra´s artistic research on reduced scenic space, started in Hominus Brasilis. The actors’ bodies and voices tell the story of a girl who, tired of always playing on her farm, decides to go beyond the gate.
During her journey, guided by intuition and the clues that nature offers, she encounters a withered, fallen plant, but with something special. Thereafter the girl dives into greatadventures in an attempt to save the little big tree.
Having debuted in 2018, the show participated in national and international festivals, in addition to seasons and circulations in various states of Brazil.

Testimonials
“Thanks for the return to childhood that I didn’t have, thanks for borrowing the glasses of the little ones and lending them to us adults, to make us remember how we saw the world one day!”
Pedro Lopes – Actor
“A Menina e a Árvore is the most sophisticated children’s play I’ve ever seen! Explosion of simplicity, creativity, dream and talent!”
Letícia Guimarães – Theater Director
“The actors give themselves completely to the task of being beyond their own characters. They are wind, leaves that fall from the trees, sweat … but they are also the girl seen from afar, the mountain that she climbs and the river that she swims. They are everything that the story tells, and always with humor, always playing.”
Péricles Vanzella – Theater Critic
