A Mulher que Sonhava
A Mulher que Sonhava is an online theatrical experience created especially for virtual interaction platforms. Everything happens live, with public participation.
The work mixes gestures, audiovisual, narrative, visual arts and music. The story, inspired by the universe of fantastic realism, tells of a woman who grew up too fast and finds herself immersed in a world where choices are made all the time.
She chooses to plunge into a dream and look inside herself, where she realizes the relativized time, the pain and the joy of confronting life. At the end of that journey, she wakes up with big surprises.
It debuted in 2020, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, and, in the same year, it was the main attraction of the Physical Theater Festival Chicago 2020 – at home (USA), which was done online.

Testimonials
“A new way to share the magic moment of the theater, with the technology we all have, but with the wisdom of artists.”
Gabriela López – Musician (Spain)
“As soon as I watched the show for the first time, I immediately wanted to program at the Physical Theater Festival. We were looking for a theater play by zoom and we were very touched by the beauty, poetry and message of the play. Helena and Matheus manage in a very human and honest way to give us a unique and theatrical experience through a computer screen. We feel that we “went to the theater” without leaving home.”
Alice da Cunha – Artistic Director of Physical Festival Chicago (USA)
“At the beginning of the quarantine, I did not consider an interesting online theater experience possible. I felt unmotivated to try to create in that sense. Watching this play, a wealth of paths opened up and a certain courage to dare and reinvent was present. A Mulher que Sonhava is a wonderful work of visual poetry, something between theater and cinema, woven with the craftsmanship and courage so dear to the group.”
