Hominus Brasilis
Hominus Brasilis is a show that uses innovative scenic language to narrate the history of man in the world, from the Big Bang to the present day. Four actors stand on a two square meter stage and, using only the body and live vocal sound, they tell remarkable episodes of the trajectory of man in the world, since the birth of the universe with the Big Bang, passing through the great navigations, the Portuguese arriving in Brazil, the end of slavery, the world wars, the ages of cinema, radio and TV, remarkable political facts, reaching the present days.
Hominus Brasilis debuted in 2014, the year he was nominated for the Shell Theater Award (Best Direction) and the Cesgranrio Theater Award 2014 (Special Category for the study of scenic space through the Platform).
Since then, he has performed more than 200 times, with 6 seasons in Rio de Janeiro, 10 circuits in Brazil, several national and 4 international festivals. More than 15.000 people have watched Hominus Brasilis around the world!
