A saga with numerous characters and different geographies through a single actor on stage. The show tells the story of a boy who works exhaustively in a shoe factory but, contradictorily, is unable to buy his own.

Vermelha

Vermelha tells the story of a boy who works exhaustively in a shoe factory but, contradictorily, is unable to buy his own shoes. One day, he discovers that the goods produced in the factory, located in the country below, are sold for a much lower price in the country above, where they are exported.

Vermelha deepens Dobra’s continued research on gesture and the scenic space. In their third show, the group takes on the challenge of, with only one actor on the scene, bringing different characters and places to life. Gesture, expressive body, pantomime, physical humor, rhythmic work and the construction of the atmosphere through sonorities enter the scene. Vermelha debuted in 2019 and performed seasons and participations in festivals in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
